Intense M9 FRO – First ride review | $3149
Aug 26, 2011 | California-based
Intense Cycles
have been busy
once again producing their
latest pedigree downhill
bike, the M9 FRO. With help from some of the
fastest riders in the world – Intense claim that their
M-series, of which this is the
latest incarnation, has been
ridden by more pro athletes
than any other downhill bike
ever – the M9 FRO should be
one of the best bikes out there. It's a real racer's bike, with masses of adjustment and speed. But the suspension feel won't suit everyone.
Ride & handling: Plenty of speed but a harsh rear end
An uplift day back in the UK
helped with bike setup before
we headed to Europe’s downhill
capital, Morzine in France, to really
give it some. Unfortunately, the
day on the bike in the UK raised
some setup issues. The Cane
Creek Double Barrel shock’s compression damping,
even when turned to minimum,
created a harsh feeling after
about 70 per cent of the travel.

I want to buy to 12" type Rs by Alpine(1500 peak & RMS 500) and an Alpine MRP-M850 amp. Tell me if there good
Dec 02, 2007 by Thomas C
I want to buy 12 "by Alpine Type RS (1500 Peak & RMS 500) and an Alpine MRP-M850 amp. Tell me if you think it is a good choice. I have a Ford Explorer, but I would like Learn as if you could help me choose the type of cabling. Thanks for your help.
- OH MY FUCKING GOD YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had one 12" Type R 500RMS in my hatchback the other day and it blew my amp because I ran it at 1 ohm but for the few hours it was working it was a FUCKING BEAST!
That was just 1 and it is sooooo fucking good!
For your wiring kit go to a professional audio place and get 4 guage wiring kit.
And just a quick one. The subs come with 4 terminals on the side. They have a metal piece that is linked to both coils. One positive from the coil 1 to positive on coil 2 and the other from the coil negative 1 to negative on the 2nd coil.
You paste the son in the bottom 2 terminals and connect the other end to your amp. These range from under 1 ohm. If you remove the metal piece, then it will run your in 2 ohms. If you cross the metal above so that it becomes positive to negative on both, you get 4 ohm.
Make sure your amp is 1 ohm stable if you start to run with pieces of metal for my amp could not handle and thats why mine blew.
what is the best subwoofer to use with an alpine mrp-m350 amplifier?

i have an alpine mrp-m350 amp and i want to buy a subwoofer for it, so i can finally have something with bass in my car, i don't have much to spend but willing to spend money if i have to, my budget is around $50-150 max. cause i still have to buy other stuff(new hu,amp kit, speakers).
JL audio W0 in a small ported box. You'll never regret it.
