Alpine Speakers?

I look out for my car and I was discovering some speakers. Would Speakers Alpine Type S a good buy at 99.99? If not, what other speakers are good, my friends all say Pioneer is nice for submarines and is good for Kenwood amps.
The Alpine Type-S subwoofers are actually a good buy for the money. I have installed a number of these in different vehicles and, when paired with a good amplifier, they actually hit really hard.

I would recommend against the Kenwood amplifier idea though. I have seen a number of Kenwood amplifiers running subwoofers develop problems after just a short period of time. I find some of the better subwoofer amplifiers are:

Memphis Audio, Kicker, JL Audio, and Alpine.
  • Alpine made decent speakers for a long time already. That, in my opinion, a decent value. If you need to upgrade your audio you want to keep in mind that most companies design their products to compliment each other. If you find that you like Alpine speakers I suggest committing to them amps, subs, etc. .. If you can only wish you get to the front tweeters, midrange in the door panels, and a sub in the back or if it is possible under the seats of the driver and passengers.

What amp should I put with alpine car speakers?

I'm planning on buying a amp to put with my 6X9 Alpine speakers "50-75rms" and 6 3X4 Alpine SPS 600C Component speakers "80rms" Just any opinions on what will work well with these speakers to put out good loud sounds and good bass.
get one that is rated for the wats the speaker puts out to much amp power you will burn them up not enough it wont sound so good so get a amp that has just the right power for them
