Brazil's “Quiet” Real Estate Boom
May 12, 2011 | Spend an hour talking with Alpine Woods Capital fund manager, Joel Wells, and he’ll turn you into a true believer. Wells’ bullishness on Brazilian real estate is contagious. If commercial developers there ever needed a US agent to give them buzz, Wells would be their Ari Emanuel.
There’s the obvious story everyone following Brazilian real estate has been hearing since 2005 — housing prices are rising, interest rates are at historic lows, the middle class is the majority of the population for the first time ever and they have money to burn.
There’s more to Brazil’s real estate narrative than government low-income housing programs like My Home, My Life driving much of the market interest in names like Gafisa (GFA) and Cyrela Realty (CYRE3). Major private equity firms are investing in hospitality companies rumored to have brand namers like Warren Buffet chasing them down for a possible stake. Shopping mall operators like BR Malls (BRML3) are raising capital in secondary offerings, and investors are oversubscribing to new issues.

What Amp do I need to power 2 Alpine Type R 10 inch subwoofer?
I have a Chevy TrailBlazer and I want an amp that will power my 2 subs alpine type r 10 inch. I also HAV 4 type s alpine speakers, 6.5.
power in watts RMS for people is 200-500. they are in a small vehicle (not a car or SUV), I recommend an Alpine PDX-1.600. if you want to push their limits, Alpine PDX-1.1000. keep in mind the height of your subs are, the less you'll be able to hear the mids and highs, and may have to get an amp that their power to keep pace. Just remember to submarines, U Want a mono amp. what I do is go to crutchfield.com and call their help line and free information product until I know exactly what I need, and then to eBay and buy all half new price.

how many amps do i need and what watts for two alpine type r 10 inch?

im gunna buy 2 alpine type r 10 inch subs how many amps and what watt should they be to make my subs peform as best as they can?
You didn't mention what Watt your Subs are. I know the Alpine type R's and they are a good system.
Before you buy em think of what music you wanna play.
If you wanna play fast beat hardcore/dance then 10's are for you.
If you want a more RnB feel then consider a 15''. Not two - it sounds dreadfull unless the boot is open at a competition or something.
Twin 12''s work well and do a bit of both deep RnB & Dance - Even a good 12'' sub is more than enough for most set ups.
Also consider if you do buy twin 10''s alpine type r's you will need some kick ass 6x9''s otherwise you wont hear any treble.
Tweeters provide sweet vocals, and coponent door speakers are always nice.
I know its tempting to just buy kick ass subs but ya have to think about the whole system before you get your wallet out.
Just to give you an idea -- Currently I run a 1000W Amp with a 1200W sub, and it is more than enough. Too much even.
Previously I run a 12'' 1200W sub with a 800W amp and that ran perfect too.
Basically if your twin 10''s are 1000W each I'd say around 1200W Amp should run it fine.
But since they are Alpine's, then the RMS tends to be pretty good, so I would consider splashing out a bit on like a 1800W.
Also If you're thinkin about your 6x9''s, consider a 2400W Amp, bear in mind you'll need fat as hell power cables and I'd recommend getting an Auto-Electrician to set that system up, but the 2400W Amp should power the subs and 6x9''s too, which is a lot less of a mess.
As for brands consider a full Alpine system if you're going with Alpine subs. Although the amps can be expensive.
Have a look at Genesis too as they offer quite good value for money.
Hope I helped!
