Wallow Fire: Crews begin to control blaze

The weather finally cooperated with crews battling the Wallow Fire on Thursday, allowing firefighters to do crucial work to start bringing the blaze under control and raising hope among evacuated residents that they would soon be able to return home.

The Wallow Fire has charred more than 386,000 acres, about 620 square miles, in eastern Arizona and destroyed or damaged more than 50 structures as it forced the evacuation of communities in the path of the relentless blaze, including Alpine, Greer, Nutrioso, Eagar and Springerville. The acreage number was revised downward

But progress was finally made Thursday, as officials put containment at 5 percent, the first time they have been able to declare any of the fire under control.

On Thursday morning the winds died down, rarely topping 25 mph, allowing crews to continue work on containment lines on the northwest side of the fire that could ultimately protect communities including Greer, Eagar and Springerville.

I have an Alpine Type X 12'' and a PDX1-1000 amp, where would i set my tuning on the amp?

I want to make the best of both the amplifier and speaker, but no damage either. I want the strongest. How do I adjust the gain and low pass filter? On what levels? And the subsonic filter is 15Hz. The subwoofer is a sealed box size recommended. Help.
The purpose of gain is to match the signal volts RMS coming from the source (CD player, etc.) at the entrance of the amplifier.

You will need a multimeter (AC voltmeter), Microsoft Excel and a way to burn an audio CD from an MP3.

There was an experiment where 15 Audio Pro Shops have been tasked to define a specific configuration by ear. Only 2 were made within the tolerances of actual measurement. The other 13 had the fastening system while 3 had the system severely clipping. Do you feel comfortable with that?
  • I Imajin with this configuration, you know a thing or about what you do, but otherwise. To begin to upgrade the big 3, it will also get a 1.5 farad cap. The reels of cable on the submarine parelel to the amp.

    for a load of 2 Ohms. As for the parameters Amps
    if you have or can get a CD with low test tones is the easiest way to do so. Put the CD in the set of all your winnings to lowest possible setting all of the sub-sonic round 15 to set the 20Hz low pass filter 80Hz define the unit around the head with flat eq. I use a 60 hz tone areound.Now, you slowly turn the bridge until you hear the change of tone it will sound alittle clearer that this is where the bridge will start to cut the volume slowly roll back until your change back. This volume will be your max volume again listining. However, in this volume go to gain on your amp to hear the same turn slowly until you hear the change in tone is the clipping level of the amplifier roll it back to tone normanl and do not move yet. Then return to the unit's head playing a tone for the rest of the speakers I use personally around 1000Hz if you run amps for the rest of the speakers apli the same thing.If authorization is not a big bet on the flat deck and slowly adjust the midrange and treble if the amps are clipping good enough May not happen if this case you should SEAK profesional help a meter voltage is used. That is how I want to configure if you came into my shop.

I am thinking bandpass but i dont wanna blow the front faceplate off, ported sounds nice but i feel liek the peformance and sound is not as good as sealed so what im asking is bandpass or sealed?
sealed is usually for smaller applications
