I have 1 of these running at least 750 rms in a sealed box and it is loud, very tight, and well worth the money while 1000 watts may be pushing it they can take 750 all day long. The one thing I don't like is they are 6 ohms, but 3 of these at 1 ohm with 2200 rms would be sick and that is my plan. For the $ you cant beat this sub. My friend is getting rid of his alpines to get these.

Pros: Good sound quality. Cons: These 1000 watt RMS subwoofers can't handle 1000 watts of continuous power. The first subwoofer, I had the amp turned up a little higher then I probably should have, the sub lasted about 2 minutes before burning up... The second subwoofer, I had the amp tuned to 1000 watts, and had added 6db on the deck, at 75% volume this subwoofer was alright, but the second I hit 80% volume it burned up. Overall: Personally, I have run a 600 watt Alpine Type-R with a 500 watt amp, gain all the way up, everything maxed, volume maxed, the subwoofer has never had issues. I even put that same exact Alpine Type-R on the same 1000 watt amp that was burning out the AudioBahns, and it still has no issues... I've never smelled it burning, nothing! ... These AudioBahns are the age old story, you get what you pay for... I will never buy another audiobahn product after this experience.

nice subwoofers. i will be putting a 3rd in my trunk. im putting out 1600rms without a extra battery. i have a soundstorm amp 4000 watt. wy front windshield cant take the power its putting out. i suggest these subwoofers no doubt. i remind you my gain control is not even near half mark.

- 1400 watts max.
Amp:
Audiobahn 2 channel amp
-1600 watt max
- 800 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)
- 200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
- 400 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms
- 700 watts RMS.
- 350 watts RMS per coil.
- 1400 watts max.
Amp:
Audiobahn 2 channel amp
-1600 watt max

You wont get the most out of that amp... u have to wire each vc to one channel...
