This amp pounds my Audiobahn 121T Subs. The price is low and the crazy power provided is clean and more than enough for my subs which can handle 1000 watts RMS a piece. I ended up selling the 12’s but I kept the amp for a new system I build. It is not put out 2300 watts, but it was healthy enough power to push two 12’s. It is a good buy if you have an amp that will fit a budget. Rating: 5.5

What Is The Best Amp For My 2 Audiobahn Subs?

I have 2 audiobahn 12 "Subs AW1206T. I was looking for the best amps i could get to the second power. I thought to get the A12001DT, or A18001DT, but do you think would be a bad idea? I want to get Audiobahn amp and I have no budget thank you for the help!

When selecting the finding of amps when you've already underwater;

1. An amp that puts out power speakers RMS to load properly.
If you have (2) RMS 500Watt 4Ohm submarines, you need an amp that puts out 500wrms x 2 @ 4ohms.
2. An amp that is CEA-compliant. This means it meets standards and off what it claims.
3. -If you have the money-purchase of the local car audio shops. I do not mean Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. .. This will support the small guys who are not (always) just trying to recover your money.

Audiobahn Amp Went Into Protection Does Anyone Know Why?

I have a 800 watt audiobahn amp (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=13490) and it is powering 2 JL audio w0's, The other day it was really hot outside and after driving for 10 minutes the amp went into protection mode and started acting funny? anyone know how to fix this?

There is not going to be a short. The setup is fine, its the amp itself. If it gets too hot or it becomes unstable, it protects itself, and shuts off. The problem is, it wont unlock itself if something internally failed. This is one of the reasons I stay away form brands like these. You can try to send it to the manufacturer to be fixed, but you may end up spending too much money, and it may be worth it to just buy an new one. Try looking at a JL amp or an alpine. They are more reliable. Sorry for your luck.
