I got this amp a few months ago to power 2 Boss Phantom 10 inch flat subs, and it's been holding solid since, and pushes them really nice and sometimes a little too much if I crank it loud enough. The ONLY thing I didn't like is the cheapo bass knob you get with it, it hasn't broken but it just feels cheap. When I'm less lazy and it gets cooler I'm gonna switch back to the Fusion knob I had in before with my last system. It's not that bothersome, so still a 5 out of 5, would deff. reccomend to a friend.

This is a very good amp for the price, i have had it for about 2 months an i have it connect to a 1000 watt concept sub, it hits very hard an sounds very good with out distorting the bass. this was a very good buy for the price.

i have a 12" alpine type r 4 ohm, this amp was instantly louder than my previous pioneer 760, but also when turned up very loud you can hear the stress on the sub because its pushes out almost exactly 1600 watts, so im keeping the amp and buying another alpine type r and a ported box! DEFENATELY GREAT FOR 90$

Boss Audio Bass800 sub placement?

(12''x12 "X13"), I was wondering, whats the best way to point the sub in my trunk to get the best sound quality? The guy at the car audio shop said that most people mount so that it points to the side of my trunk, is this true? If not whats the best way to go?

I just recently bought a BOSS audio powered sub, BASS800 model. Can you guys tell me if i made a mistake?
Feb 08, 9925 by Mike GThe Bass is very crisp and it's not boomy. I was on a budget and the space in the trunk was limited, but i was really impressed. Even the guy who installed it said that i could'not go wrong. But I want a second opinion. Thanks for your quick answer.
