For anyone looking for a good, cheap, and reliable amp this is it. I have two 1100 watt 12'' Sony Explods hooked to this amp and they hit hard and sound clear. The company should actually charge more money for this amp and for its price you cant beat the sound and performance it puts out. I was impressed by this amp and it has done more than what i thought it would for the price. This amp truely is 1100 watts. For someone starting on a budget i would say this is the amp for you. It doesnt get overheated and if it does it has a protection system built in so you dont blow anything. This is a good quality amp that i truely think would be good for anyone starting on a budget or looking for a good replacement amp.

This amp is very good, i have 2 12 kickers connected to it and it bumps. For the price they are well worth it.

Has anyone ever used a Boss Audio 1000w MOSFET Marine Power Amplifier I have 2 12" Duals?
Feb 08, 1175 by JamesLooking for some criticism, but i cannot seem to find any so I ask the people if you have had expierence with this system and your suggestions for what would be awsome.
- No personal experience with this amp, but I'm sure it will work well. Do not expect a ton of power from it - have a 40A fuse it could give you 400 or 500W total, or 200-250W to each sub if they are 4 ohms.
FWIW - I never saw the need for marine amps. Except that it'll be in a place where he is splashed a lot, there's really no point sticking exclusively marine equipment. Besides, if it gets splashed a LOT it will not last anyway.
I have owned my own boat for 5 years and never had a problem related to the water with my Amp Non-marine.I have been involved in marine audio systems for several years before and saw similar results.
boss audio system no power?
Feb 08, 5468 by <3 Obama 4Li just hooked up my boss audio system to make sure it worked i hooked up all the wires except the illumination and the parking brake(it has a dvd output). the cd remove light is illuminated but the power wont turn on. might it be because those two wires are not connected or is it something else? i pressed the reset button and nothing happened. i also havnt bought a antenna adaptor might this cause the problem also? any help will be greatly appreciated.

You may have a bad fuse in the car that needs to be replaced. Two of your wires carry power - the Red and the Yellow.
If both do not have power, your stuff won't work.
Check everything in your car for functionality (lights, dome lamp, cigarette lighter etc...and if something in the car isn't working, go look for that fuse in your fuse block - Also sometimes there are more than one fuse block so look under your dash, and under the hood as well.
