How Do I Install An Aplified Bazooka Tube?I want to install an amplified Bazooka tube (I have not bought yet) in a boat that I just had a JVC HD Radio Receiver (KD-HDR1) installed in. There are 2 RCA jacks at the rear of the head unit for a sub. Do I just need to plug the tube bazooka in those RCA to operate, or is it also needs to be connected to food and / or any other wiring needs to be done? Circuit City wants $ 75 to install it, and if it simply involves plugging the RCA and the execution of the son to run it, I can do that, otherwise I may need for them to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.He needs to be installed like any amp. You must run a wire to the battery ground to the battery from the boat is fiberglass and has no mass points, RCA and remote turn on wire to the radio. I worked on several boats and they are not hard as you can run the son easily. |
What Would Be The Best Power Wire Or Amp Install Kit For A Bazooka Tube?its a 50 watt self amplified bazooka tube. the wiring harness has 16 gauge power wire but I'm running at least 15 feet to the battery and I know the 16 gauge speaker wire im using isnt the best power wire. so please any links to what is suggested would be nice thanks!oh and also how much gauge of wire should it be? dont listen to him. 8 gauge is the lowest you can send to a battery. unless you want things to brake or your car to catch fire. just get bigger wires for safety and you have nothing to worry about. |
