Why is there no color on my Bazooka Joe comic?
Sep 08, 2006 by ♫ ♥ Una Chica ♥ ♫
Usually, when you open a piece of
Bazooka Joe gum, comedy is the color. But this time it was black and white! Does anybody know why?
The current set of strips that are wrapped around the gum
Bazooka are reprints of comics that came out in the 1960s, 70s or 80s. There are 50 cartoons in all, two of which are black and white, they are not errors or
typesetting and printing. As further proof, go to Topps.com and see these cartoons in black and white on their own website. The cartoon, there are the originals, you can tell by the old rewards offers. http://www.topps.com/Confectionery/Bazoo ka / BazAnn_comics.html

You could probably sell for over $ 500!

How do I REMOVE a 200 watt 8 inch Bazooka Tube ?
Oct 02, 2007 by ♥LeNore♥
Hi, I have bought a new car and am trying to get my 200 watt 8" Bazooka out of the back of my old
2000 Chevy Cavalier. I disconnected everything from the battery, then pulled the wiring out where it had been ran through to the back, but then when I got to the very last part in the trunk, I noticed 2 copper colored wires, in clear encasing, that were hand-connected to some of the Bazooka wires, then wrapped in electrical tape. The ends of those wires are hooked up to my two rear-end factory
speakers. I am unsure if those wires belong to the Bazooka tube wiring system and if I keep them, or if they are to stay connected to the factory
speakers, or if I just leave them dangling or what. I did not install this system, so I have NO IDEA what i'm doing. I figured unwiring
speakers were a lot easier than installing them but now i'm really confused. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
*UPDATE/EDIT*
OK I followed all of yours advice and took those wires off then taped back the factory ones. Everything works on the factory speakers still so I guess I didn't screw up :) THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH.
To the one person saying how they did it was hard to uninstall:
Oh man you don't even know..I started at 8:00 this morning and just now finished at 10:40...2 and a half hours!! I was careful though and will hopefully be able to reuse the wire system when putting the tube in my new Versa (because those wire systems are freaking PRICEY!).
Thanks again, you all!
Take those wires off, they are only taking the sound signals from the speakers to your tube.
You've disconnected the power to the tube, but remember the tube plays bass (music) so it needs something to send it the sound signals (which come from those two wires attached to your rear speakers)
They go with the tube, really - your car doesn't need them. If you hook up the tube to another car, you will need those two wires to connect to the rear speakers again (to get sound)
