Will a 10" Bazooka Amplified Bass Tube fit my Mazda 3 Factory Head Unit?
Aug 07, 2007 by Awesinine
I have a 07 Mazda 3 and I have replaced the factory
speakers with some
Pioneers, and he has already done a world of difference. But the
bass is still poor. I do this on a budget, and do not want to take loads of trunk space, so I was thinking get a
bazooka bass tube. Just to give a little Hum! ... I need to know if this will connect to my hi-fi works, because I really do not want to get into changing too! Help!

How do I install an aplified Bazooka Tube?
Jun 11, 2007 by Old maid
I want to install an
amplified Bazooka tube (that I haven't purchased yet) into a boat that I just had a JVC HD
Radio Receiver (KD-HDR1) installed in. There are 2 RCA plugs on the back of the head unit for a sub. Do I just need to plug the
bazooka tube into those RCA's to make it work, or does it also need to be connected to power and/or any other wiring that needs to be done? Circuit City wants $75 to install it, and if it just entails plugging in the RCA's and running the wires to make it work, I can do that, otherwise I may need to have them do it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
It needs to be installed just like any amp. You need to run a power wire to the battery, a ground to the battery since the boat is fiberglass and has no grounding points, rca and remote turn on wire to the radio. I have worked on several boats and they are not difficult as long as you can run the wires easily.
