No one was shocked when word came of her hiatus. It’s not like we have to wait years for her to do more work like some of her contemporaries. One of the hardest working women in independent music certainly deserves a break now and then if for no reason than keeping fans alive no matter how much they might deserve having every single inch of their asses kicked. Seriously! Who throws shit like that at a performer on stage?

Despite some gripes about the layout of the place, for the most part The Cannery Ballroom is a spacious venue that offers decent acoustics and a nice view of the stage from about 65% of the strangely planned out room. The staff is always friendly and helpful even when there is a snafu (as there often is) involving press credentials. Not something that can be said about all Nashville’s venerable show bars.

how to connect Yamaha AV 1900 to Boston acoustics sub woofer?

I originally set my my receiver with just two large Tannoy front speakers it works fine but I want to add this subwoofer, During the auto set-up the receiver sends sound to subwoofer but after the set-up the receiver does not sent any sound to the subwoofer. The subwoofer is not seen on the screen of the receiver but just the two front speakers.Can someone help please. thank you
If you have your subwoofer hooked up via the subwoofer out on the back of the Receiver (LFE), just make sure that in the setup menu you have subwoofer set to "ON" and you should be set. I bet you this is why the sub isnt working after the fact, because the YPAO tests all the channels even if you have certain channels not hooked up or shut off.

The screen on the front of the Receiver probably will not light the LFE symbol unless there is 5.1 or 7.1 audio present. I do not have a subwoofer hooked up to my Yamaha RX-V3800 (because my Definitive Technology Supertowers have built in subwoofers) yet when there is 5.1 or 7.1 audio present the "LFE" symbol lights up anyways. It also did the same thing with center channel CLR symbol before I even had a center hooked up to it.

Bottom Line: The screen on the receiver only shows what type of audio is present and not what you have hooked up to the receiver.
