Is this boston subwoofer setup good for what i need?

I am a complete noob to car subwoofers and got offered this setup to buy 2 Boston 12 "subs in a sealed box and a boston gt22 amp. I listen to a mix of rap and metal and hardcore in terms of watt wise, wise-inch speakers, marks, etc. This configuration is good?
Boston is a low end brand cheap, i wouldnt get anything Boston. some brands you ahould stay away from are Boston, volfenhag, sound power, fusion, double, Blaupunkt, Sony (which is a personal preferences). you need to JL, Kicker, Polk Audio, Pioneer Digital Design, Merlon, or something like that. your subs depending on your vehicle and how you want your stuff to hit. Personally, I like two 12 in a box worn. to the extent that its wattage usually more power RMS and Peak to sub more knocks. for someone thats again i would say just car audio kickers get a couple and a single amplifier to drive them back.that should sound pretty good. to make your stuff sound even better if you need to get a new stereo and speakers door.

Anybody ever heard a Boston acoustics Generator Subwoofer?

I just bought a 10" generator sub in a sealed box made by boston acoustics off ebay for $38 shipped. Does it sound like a good deal, has anyone listened to these? I cant find any info on em, but i heard boston was great. THANKS
the Generator is a good woofer. they have really good sq, so i hope thats why you bought it. if its not blown, i doubt you'll be disapointed. $38 is a steal.
