Game Preview: Express at Oklahoma City (May 31)

May 31, 2011 | Round Rock plays its first road game in two weeks, opening a four-game series against the Oklahoma City RedHawks. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CDT at Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City. The Express are 5-5 in their last 10 games after splitting a four-game series against Iowa. The RedHawks are 3-7 in their last 10 games, salvaging the finale of a four-game series at Nashville yesterday.

This is the third of four series between Round Rock and Oklahoma City; the Express lead the series 5-3. The teams met in successive series in April with the Express sweeping a four-game set at Oklahoma City only to drop three of four at home against the RedHawks over the next four days. Express pitchers have posted a 3.25 ERA (26 ER / 72.0 IP) against the RedHawks, while Round Rock is hitting .261 (70-for-268) against Oklahoma City pitchers. Round Rock hit only three home runs in the eight games against the RedHawks; it was the lowest home-run total in any eight-game stretch this season. The teams meet again June 25-28 at The Dell Diamond.

Which component set should I buy Focal, Morel, CDT, or Rainbow? Please help!?

Well guys I am obviously looking for something a little nicer, and I wanted an opinion on which one to buy too. Ultimately if you give me a satisfactory answer with the explanation that I'll buy what you tell me. All I ask is that you do recommend a set with tweeters painful light / summits. Here are my choices please choose one and tell me why I should buy it .. If you are wondering im buying them in 2 days and I have a brand new high amp (100watt +) to make them work.

Focals I had installed in a VW Polo a few years back, and even by today's standards, I have never heard a sound quality coming anything close to the lens and divides the by. He won a contest in a competition in the SPL Rookie - Range of quality, and would have won in the range of occupations, but the car was not allowed to enter both. I know that the axis of a quality of his product better than anything I've ever heard in my life (3 layers of Dynamat all-round helped too), but I would not write off other brands.Something that I noticed is that many other names typically handle more power than the Focals, but only in the lower ranges.
  • Out of those I'd probably go with the CDT that I personally heard they are the best around, midbass, mids and highs. Regarding levels are very painfully I feel I'm in the same cartel that is why I'm running Q MBQ 200W with one hand. I am not too sure about the new Rainbows, Focal and Morel but these are all brands I would not mind listening to me if they come up to what I'm used to.

I'm looking for a new set of component speakers.?

I had Infinity Kappas...they got a little water and dirt in them one day and now i'm lookin for new 6.5 components. I'm looking for SQ and clarity at loud levels. I listen to everything from Metallica to Sinatra to Hip Hop to Orchestra. I've got a Fi audio 12" sub. As a point of reference, Kickers are way too bright for me and Infinity Refrence are too soft. Even the Kappas were a little bright at times. This is all going in an extended cab Sierra. Thanks

the Alpine type x 6.5" components are excellent speakers that can make bluegrass music sound amazing. No offense to those who enjoy blue grass music. These speakers will provide loudness, clarity, and consistent top notch performance,and durability. Personally, i don't think anyone could go on hearing if these things were turned all the way, of course with the application of a powerful amp. Think of these as mini subwoofers that can also play high and mid-range sounds.
