Green theme hailed at Clark
May 17, 2012 | WORCESTER
Solar, wind and human energy were evident in abundance on Clark University's campus green yesterday afternoon, during the second annual Go Green on the Green festival, a post-Earth Day celebration of sustainable living.
The event was hosted by Clark University Eco-Reps, which organizer David Gross, a junior from Tampa, Fla., said was the college's largest student organization.
This year's festival, “Go Green with Me …?” featured music and refreshments powered by clean energy, as well as a wealth of information from more than 30 student groups and community environmental organizations.
Electricity for the festival that was not produced right on the campus green was purchased from clean energy sources through New England Wind, part of the Mass Energy Consumer Alliance.
“This whole event is carbon neutral,” Mr. Gross said.
One of the most popular tables was a selection of pita-bread pizzas

Earthquake amplifier + pioneer sub + blaupunkt speakersneed help please!?
Mar 30, 2008 by LTSRD07
I am following in my car
- Panasonic CQ-3305W head unit
-
Earthquake 600W.4 (600W4) 4-Channel 1200W XTREME Series Amplifier http://cgi.ebay.com/New-EARTHQUAKE-600W- 4-For-Amp 1200W 4-Ch-amplifier Bass_W0QQ itemZ180226079964QQcmdZViewItem? Hash = ite m180226079964
-
Blaupunkt GTx 652 Two way component speakers - 210 Watts, 6.5 "front speakers
-
Pioneer TS-W307D2 12 "Sub - 1200W max, 400W RMS - http://www.pioneerelectronics.com / P roducts PUSA / / CarAudioVideo / Subwoofers / Champio n/TS-W307D2% 7CD4
Now my sub is currently connected (and filled) to the amplifier. What I want to do is plug my speakers following (because they are running off the head unit for now).
Can anyone recommend how to do this? and also, will this blow my speakers because they will begin to resemble 300W power ....
suggestions?
When your amplifier is bridged like that, you only have 2 channels. You'll need at least 3 channels to drive your front speakers and a submarine. You might unbridge your amp for 4 channels. But you'll get a free channel and less power than the sub that you had before.
You could buy another Pioneer TS-W307D2 that could help a little. However, you would have to run the subs into 4 ohms if you still have a little power at least you had. You'll need to buy sub
Marino 2 2 ohms (WS307D4) and you get better power than you had before.
Also this amp will not blow your
Blaupunkt because his rating is 130W RMS at 4 ohms, which is not a problem for those 2 ways. The rating of 300 watts is a "peak" rating, which is a marketing tool used by companies to mislead the bad guys who do not know the difference.
