I have an earthquake pa4020c 2 ohms 240 amps watts and 2 12 '150-watt JL Audio subs. How do I connect to eachother.
are the 4 ohm subs to 2 ohms? if they are 4 ohms, you must hook the subs up in parallel wiring. is 150 watts max or rms? is 240 watts on the amp to max out the amp or the RMS of the amp?

is earthquake good for everyday use or is it all just good for compitition.
you can use it daily. the difference between daily use and competition use, is that in competition you push your equipment to the max. giving it as much power or more power than it can handle for a brief burp.

In everyday use, you shouldn't be using pushing the equipment to the max. so in competition a 1000 watt RMS subwoofer 2000 Watt peak power will probably be getting 2000 watts or more or power, but only for a few seconds. any longer and the subwoofer would be destroyed.

In daily use that same subwoofer would be running at 1000 watts, which is the amount of power it can handle all day everyday without a problem.
