Why Are Some Audiophiles Scared of Bob Hodas?

From the very early days of audiophilia until well into the late 1980's - hardcore audiophiles attacked equalizers because they brought phase shift into the signal path. Conversely, equalizers also allow one to tailor the sound of a speaker system ( and sub ) to meet the specific needs of the room in ways that upgrading to the "preamp of the week" from the audiophile magazines can't deliver. The sad reality is that there are still some enthusiasts who think that you can get to audio heaven by investing solely in audiophile gear without ever fundamentally dealing with the basic acoustics of a listening room. This is simply not possible. While investing more and more into gear can get you more performance, more exotic gear and more audio jewelry - your number one audio asset is your listening room. Simple solutions can make a huge difference.

Can i add a 3 inch midrange speaker to my Focal 165 KF speakers?

Can I add them without having to buy a new vehicle crossover or nothing more besides the installation. If this is not what I should buy? And also where can I buy only the speakers mediums of 3 inches as in the Focal 165 set KRX3?

Is the Focal 100 CVX speaker good for guitar and high sounds?

I was wondering this because i am getting this put in my truck just to make certain sounds pop more like guitar and piano and other instruments. I already have Focal 165 KFs and i dont want to hear you need to listen tot ehm yourself. I just need to know if they are good for what im wanting.
