May 17, 2012 | When the agent who arrested Shaw tells Kovacs they're convinced Shaw has no less than 20 million dollars tucked away somewhere, Kovacs believes he knows where and decides to take revenge on the man and return the employees the money they owe. But for that to happen, he and a couple of other workers who got fired need some professional help in order to succeed in breaking in the tower penthouse where Shaw is being held. The transfer is technically quite impressive for the most part with deep blacks, shiny colors, good contrast and plenty of detail. There's some minor aliasing present and a couple of night time shots flatten out a bit, but that's all there is to comment negatively on regarding the transfer. One thing that's quite annoying but not due to the transfer is the fact that some shots have
focal issues where the lower part of the image is hair sharp, while the top half tends to become a bit blurry. It doesn't happen all too often, but when it's there it's noticeable. Overall, the

12" subwoofer with the best SQ?
May 17, 2765 by T
Everyone has their own opinion, but anyone really knows what the brand has the best in SQ? I know I heard that Focal Hertz JL, Diamond, Morel, Polk SR all have great SQ, but I do not know where to go with? If you know of other subwoofers with Great SQ me know. Keep in mind, I will not buy kicker, alpine, or Sony. Only brands above. Thank you!
JL 12W7 squares best by far, I have a 10W7 and the sound quality is better than everything Ive heard. I work in a store, we sell most brands you mentioned. Focal is good but very expensive and in my opinion not worth it. Diamond Audio is not too bad, but JL is better. SR Polk speakers are excellent subs but disappoint. I recommend JL W6 or W7, Boston Acoustics G5, Image Dynamics ID Max for pure sound quality.
- When you reach the level of quality that you talk about the difference between subwoofers is low. installation is the wealth of a SQ system.
Adding subwoofer to amp set up?
Nov 28, 2008 by Iced Tee
I recently bought a used 2003 Acura RSX with some aftermarket stereo components. I want to add a sub but I'm not sure if i should just hook it up to the existing amp or buy a different one. i have an Eclipse EA4000 amplifier mounted in the back, connected to Focal speakers (not sure what model). Currently i have sound running through all 4 speakers (2 on front doors, 2 in back, plus 2 tweeters), but boosted the bass for the back speakers. I'd like to connect the sub to the amp for the bass while still using all four speakers for mid/high tones. Should i buy a separate amp for the sub or just use the existing one? An if i keep it what would be the best way to connect the sub? And any good sub recommendations would be great too.

A separate amp is needed. Mono block amps were made for subs, multi channel amps were not. But they can work with subs though, even though they are not meant for them. A mono block is also going to cost less money as well. The only way that you will be able to connect a sub to that amp is only if it is a 5 channel amp, the 5th channel is dedicated to subs.
