I plan to buy a car amplifier, or a Power Acoustik SL2-2000 Hifonics Zxi 6006. My requirement is a powerful Deep Bass punching strong. which of these two amplifiers will give me this effect?
This corresponds to a pair of 440 watts RMS @ 4 Ohm DVC. The SL2-2000 is 880 RMS @ 4ohm bridged.

What gauge wire to use with 2 alpine type r's (SWR-1222D)and a hifonics 2000 watt amp ( BXi2010D )?

also what box would be best for these subs? i have a 1998 cadillac sls so they'll be in the trunk.
its mostlikely gonna be 2 gauge to the amp and then i had some type R's and i ran 8 gauge from the amp to the subs
