Can I get my JL W7 to work with my Hifonics Amplifier?

My W7 is 3 ohms impedance and I Hifonics 1200 watt BXi1210D. Do I need to buy another amp to power my subwoofer? Thank you in advance.

I bought a Hifonics Brutus BX1500d
Class D MONO amplifier
I bought for $150 dollars
Was a good buy or what

I don't want to seem bias about this....but....I have been running Hifonics for quite a while and compete with the Brutus BXi1606D. The BX1500D is a very good class D mono amp. Not as efficient as the newer models though. Make sure you have the electrical to back it up. $150 is a pretty good price, if everything works on it. The nice thing about the Brutus amps is the fact that they run comfortably at 4, 2, and 1 ohm. All depends on what configuration your subs are. Will make close to its rated power at any ohm load. Hope this helps.
