Time for a sound deal

May 17, 2012 | I'm using some Energy speakers and a JBL subwoofer, sounds great. If only I had space for my 1970's PYE Prolabs - they're a tad on the boomy side, but man they're great movie speakers. Unless you've got a lounge with fantastic acoustics,

I got the SPX Audio Dual 12 inch subwoofers each putting out 600 watts, will my JBL amp support them?

As I said, audo SPX 12-inch woofers and 600 watts each, so 1200 total. My amp is a JBL Decade DA1002, that will work?

I have a Jbl amp and it stays in protect mode what is wrong with it?

the amp is a 600.1 grand touring i used it with a jbl sub 1200.4
it was working for 2 month and than stop working all my fuses are good one at the batterie one at the switching block and 2 at the amp please help thanks
the amp is bad and needs repair when jbl amps over heat too much or have a bad ground they go into permanent protection. you might want to check with jbl you can get there number on there website it should still be under warranty. if it is new take it back to where you bought it they might not replace it if you installed it yourself but they will give you the info you need. even if it is out of warranty jbl will still repair it just not for free. good luck.
