How do i get rid of the buzzing from my amplifier?

Sep 15, 2009 by yokozuna0134
You just bought a new stereo (JVC KW-AVX810) for 2001 Mustang with Mach 460 sound system. I was told there would probably be a buzz after being installed, but I did not expect to be so strong. What is happening and how can I solve this problem? I am open to buying a new amp if necessary.

Which should i choose for the head unit in my car? JVC or Kenwood?

These are my three options.
  • I don't have any of these models, but i recently put a jvc hdr50 with a mounting kit pocket into my double din opening. The jvc has better sound and easier menu navigation than my kenwood did. For the extra money between the two JVC's you get a nicer ipod menu, a detachable faceplate, and a proximity sensor so the screen becomes active if your finger is near it. Unless you plan on using your ipod or live in an area where you want the security of the detachable faceplate, i'd go with the less expensive of the two JVC's.
