I have a Kenwood Excelon DVD touch screen. Is there a way I can hook up my Laptop and control it via the DVD?

I just want to be able to control the laptop by using the touch screen DVD. I've seen it before, but I can not understand what programs / hardware to use.
This may be possible with a touch screen that has an open interface such as a tablet PC or something. But the
Kenwood touchscreen protocol is a closed and exclusive of, and there are no adapters that allow you to work. If you know how, you could probably guess and make some kind of adapter. You would need to know how to write code for embedded systems, and burn some CI and that sort of thing. A sizeable proejct. Or, if you're good hacking this stuff.

If so...what format does it support? Can it play FLAC or mp3?
