Finally bought Two Kicker CVR 10''. How many watts should my amp be?

I debated all week, but I finally bought two Kicker CVR 10''subs.

The power handling is 400W Peak RMS/800w
98 dB
Tuning frequency - 38 Hz
4 OHM

Now it is time to decide on an amp.
I do not buy more than $ 250, so how many watts should I be looking into the amp?
You need an amp thats at least 800 watts RMS. I choose a class D AMP piece thats rated 800 watts @ 2 ohms. ADDED! I forgot to mention ...One of my favorite things about these amps is that they have "Twin Stack" capacity. What this means is that you can actually put 2 Yes Two of these amps, 1 submarine or load.Basically You can exceed the amplifiers to form a single set ... load.Example amp that I recommend is 1000watts (1 ohm ).... add another and you could pump 2000 watts in a single unified competition if you want.
Just an FYI ... simply means that you can put an evil for some subs, if you really wanted ...

what kind of box would be best for a 10'' kicker cvr?

i just bought a 10'' kicker cvr d2 and i have lots of room for a veted enclosure so what would you prefer to have deep bass?
get a big ported box built to the specs the kicker company says. this'll give you the deepest bass and i prefer ported vs sealed. but it all comes down to what you listen to. if you listen to more rock your going to want a sealed box to get a quicker more acccurate sub movement. but with rap, techno, or bass cd's go for the ported
