I used to run 2 12" round subs in a ported box but I wanted to downsize since I now have a small car. Had old box in my ext cab of my truck and it took it all up. Well I wanted a trunk in my car, so I put this in a compact sealed custom made box to manuals instructions(14.5x14.5x11.5). Running it parallel @ 750 rms from a HFi 1000.1 mono amp(great combo) and this thing hits HARD. I was surprised by the spl but when u run it on lower setting the sq is amazing. I don't care what other people say the sq runs just as good as an alpine type-r . Used to think kickers were crap cuz all my friends that had them ran they loud. U run them with more sq instead of spl and ull have a sub that will impress all with the quality then run the boost up and rattle their brains out

These subs are good in everything from sound quality to the price i really suggest these subwoofers to anyone who is looking for some great subs that last for ever

What amp will I need to run two Kicker Solo-Baric L7 Series 12" subwoofers?

Hello, I try to connect two Kicker Solo-Baric L7 Series 12 subwoofers in my '03 GMC Sierra single cab. I wonder what I need amps for the turn because I am not sure and do not want to get an amp and jump. Also what speakers should I get to go with the subs and amp?

I would be kicker 1000.1 amplifier or 1500, they are beautiful amplifier just right for them, and with the speaker that you give a little more info you can run a system with speaker kicker to your door or any other mark you want.

I am buying 2 12 inch kicker solo baric L5s at 1200 watt max. What is an amp that will power both good and hit hard? Also what do you look at when matching an amp with a sub?
