Incidents

On Sunday, Paulin Patlan-Baeza, 707 Marion St., reported damage to the rear window and driver's side rear window on a 2002 Ford F150 pickup while parked at 717 Marion St., and the theft of three gold chains. Estimated value of loss was $1,500.

On Sunday, an employee with Maurices, 50 E. LaFrentz St., reported the theft of four Silver jeans and eight tops. Estimated value of loss was $500.

On Saturday, Angel Lizarde, 701 N. 3rd Ave., reported the theft of a MTX Sledgehammer subwoofer and a Alpine amplifier from a vehicle while parked near his residence. Estimated value of loss was $500.

On Saturday, an employee with Burger King, 2605 S. Center St., reported the theft of a wallet and the unauthorized use of credit cards of a customer. Estimated value of loss was $435.

On Friday, a staffer at Marshalltown High School, 1602 S. 2nd Ave., reported the theft of a Infocus LCD video projector, a black wall mount and a VGA extender. Estimated value of loss was $1.017.32.

I have a mtx sledgehammer 12" subwoofer. I know nothing about audio. What type of deck and amp should I get?

My sub slht45512a MTX is a 12 "4500 martinet who is 4-OHM, MS power is 225W, maximum power is 450 W. This type of deck and stereo amp should i get that would give me as much as possible with the base chamber low?
  • Well, if the amp is 225 RMS then you'll want one thats Ampere around these ratings. and if the single 4 ohm voice coil then you want an amp thats the notes to 4 ohms. And the bridge good marks Pioneer and Alpine, Kenwood.

Is every mtx sledgehammer box the same or are there different sizes for different subwoffers?

I saw a sledgehammer box with 4500's and another sledgehammer box with 7500's and I just wanted to know if there is any difference between the two. The dimensions are both the same for both boxes: height, width, and depth. Are they designed differently internally?
no all the boxes are different since all the speakers have different specs. there is also 5500,8500,9500 sledgehammers. and dual sub and triple sub sledghehammer enclosures
