i have had this product for about 90 days and after minimal use and an amp that only gives it 75 rms it damages a tweeter.simply pitiful, the only reason i gave this product 3 stars was that the other speaker is perfectly fine and works amazingly well. i am just disappointed in how little stress this speaker has had, and still its tweeter got damaged.the only way i can get around the annoying scratchy sound from the speaker is by turning the volume up higher so that the bass attached to this speaker can drown out that sound.overall good for the money but i suggest running these speakers through stress test before you fully install them, i know i probably am unlucky with my speaker, since the other one works fine but man am i disappointed.

I blew out one of the factory speakers on my car so I replaced the back speakers with these, and I was very impressed. The speakers are very good for the price, with clear and crisp sound, and plenty loud. Overall I'm very satisfied. The speakers even came with covers in case your car didn't have them!

WHEN I FRIST GOT THESE SPEAKERS THE SOUND WAS CLEAR AND CAN PICK UP ALOT OF INSTRUMENTS WITH OUT DISTORTION. AFTER INSTALLING MY KICKER KX850.4 AMP THE HIGH AND LOWER END SOUNDS WOUNDERFUL. THESE ARE VERY GOOD SPEAKER AND MY 2 CENTS IS YOU SHOULD GET THEM.

Pioneer creates 'Sound Wing' thin-speaker soundbar and speakers
Jun 28, 2011 |Pioneer has shown off a soundbar and satellite speakers with flat-panel speaker driver technology, allowing speaker widths of under an inch. The new Pioneer Sound Wing speakers are designed to blend seamlessly underneath or beside a flat-panel LCD or plasma TV , and come bundled with Pioneer's new slim-line AV receiver.
The speakers use what Pioneer calls HVT technology — "horizontal-vertical transforming" — which moves the speaker's magnets alongside the speaker driver, cutting down on the overall space required. The S-HV600B Sound Wing soundbar is only 25.5mm thick, and the satellite-style omnidirectional S-HV500LR speakers are 37mm thick.
The speakers will not be sold separately — they must be bought in a bundle with Pioneer's slim new VSX-S300 receiver . The VSX-S300 is the only Pioneer amplifier that includes an equaliser setting tailored to the new Sound Wing speakers. The price for each bundle is yet to be confirmed, but the sets will be available from September.

Oct 11, 2007 by jimmy24sauerI bought two 460 watt 6x9 Pioneer 5 Way Speakers. What is the difference in the amount of "road" is a speaker? 5 ways I noticed was the most and that is why I bought them. Is it automatically the best speakers with the sound the best and strongest?
Not the best. Each "path" is an addition of a speaker of another. Most people want to define, and establish separate speakers / tweeters about the forward cabin.
