Man tied to several thefts arrested by Richmond police

Feb 08, 2012 | • A resident in the 100 block of Manna Drive reported Monday his vehicle had been unlawfully entered overnight and several items stolen. There were no signs of forced entry, according to police. Listed as missing were: Two Sony Xplode 10-inch speakers, a Power Acoustik 1200-watt amplifier, a bottle of Playboy cologne, two credit cards  and an iPod FM transmitter. The estimated loss is $670.         • A resident in the 200 block of Tates Creek Avenue reported Monday her residence had been unlawfully entered overnight and several items stolen. Entry was gained via an unlocked front window, Brock said. Listed as missing were: A Sanyo 22-inch television, a pink Barbie child’s guitar, an unknown brand brown digital camera, a number of oils and body washes and a child’s karaoke machine. The estimated loss is $701.         There were no signs of forced entry, according to police. Listed as missing were: A white iPad, 64gb, with case; a black Hewlett Packard Elite 2730 laptop computer, a black Samsonite rolling case, a Hewlett Packard computer battery, an AT&T cellular telephone, a window fan, headphones for an iPod and a state employee identification badge. The estimated loss is $2,623. Eden and I went to “The Wizard of Oz,” at Eastern Kentucky University’s Center for the Arts. I was able to surprise her that day with the tickets to the show. When I picked her up from school and told her we were going to see “The Wizard of Oz,” she let out the biggest squeal I have ever heard, and she asked if we’d see Tic-Toc, the big pumpkin man and the woman with the heads that change. Eden’s only experience with Oz has been with the slightly creepy, but yet fantastic unofficial 1985 movie sequel, “Return to Oz,” starring Fairuza Balk as Dorothy Gale.

I plan to buy a car amplifier, or a Power Acoustik SL2-2000 Hifonics Zxi 6006. My requirement is a powerful Deep Bass punching strong. which of these two amplifiers will give me this effect?
This corresponds to a pair of 440 watts RMS @ 4 Ohm DVC. The SL2-2000 is 880 RMS @ 4ohm bridged.

Would a 985 watt Power Acoustik 2-channel amplifier push a 15" L7 4 Ohm Dual Coil Subwoofer?
It will. You can push up to 1500 into that beast, and the amp will go as low as 2 ohms, so a 4 won't be a problem.
