We have three Alpine head units to go with this DVD player. I haven't been able to figure out if this is an issue with the player or the headsets, but unless you are seated in the center seat of the second and third rows (I drive a Pilot) you hear about 90% static. That is, children who are seated on the right or left can't hear the movie, and that's exactly where my car seats are positioned, so I always have to play the movie through my car's speakers which is a bummer if I want to hear my own music -- or nothing at all! Otherwise this works good and we're happy with it. -- Headphone issues

I Have An Alpine Type X Sub Hooked Up To A Power Acoustik DVD Player And I Can't Get No Bass Out Of My Subs?Thing I've ever caught this right is not my first time.Do you need to activate the sub output on the DVD? I had the same problem with my Pioneer 7 "and it turns out that I had to turn the output into a menu to adjust the sound. |

I can find any reviews on them anywhere on line. Local shop wants nearly 600 bucks for it and I found them brand new on ebay for 289. Has anyone dealt with Power Acoustik dvd players?
