Test drive: 2012 Nissan Titan Crew Cab SV 4x4

As we tested the 2012 Nissan Titan Crew Cab 4x4 SV this week we were reminded that the full-sized pickup hasn't changed much since its introduction in 2004. What we found however is that the Nissan still offers a significant alternative to Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota and Ram.

The big 317 horsepower 5.6 liter V8 and 5-speed automatic transmission still rumbles with an American style and drinks its fuel prodigiously. The V8 is in fact quite loud with a very aftermarket sounding exhaust. We found it quite rewarding to roll down the rear window and floor it just to hear the sound.

Our silver 4x4 Crew Cab SV tester was mildly equipped with two packages including the $1,350 SV Premium Utility Package as well as the $1,910 SV Value Truck package. It had a set of handsome 18” alloy wheels and 5'-7” short bed to go with its four full doors.

The Value Package included a host of interior upgrades like captain's chairs, leather wrapped shifter and steering wheel, rear passenger air vents and console, and a Bluetooth hands free set up. The package also gives you fog lights, a rear sonar system, a tow hitch with wiring and trailer brake pre-wire.

  • If it is a t2d4 then yes, because u can not run @ 4 ohms and I wouldnt put 2k on this thing .... RMS do not get me wrong, the t2 is a powerful subwoofer, but I wouldnt put twice the rms on it thats a little more .... February 1 t2 d2 Tho would work fine ... Im also guessing that the power Acoustik does not quite put his RMS anyway ...

What type of resistors does the Rockford Fosgate Power 800a2 have?

I have a power 800a2 that needs some resistors replaced but I don't remember what kind they are. I think I was told PNP or something like that, but I looked it up online and could not find any help. Anybody know about these resistors and where I can get them?
PNP is a type of transistor, not a resistor; but it just specifies a general type of transistor.

Your best bet is to contact Rockford Fosgate's support department and see if they can provide you with a schematic or parts list for the amplifier.
