Are 4 Rockford Fosgate T1 subwoofers better than 2 rockford T2s?

Currently in my VW Rabbit I HAV 3 Rockford Fosgate T1 12s and 2000 watts RMS Rockford amp. I'm trying to decide whether to get another T1 or maybe get 2 T2s instead. Or maybe even just make a T2 (I know one can handle the power, because they are so underrated). I'm just trying to be as strong as possible. Also, how important it is that I'm updating my 3 big?
if what you mean by better, is stronger, then yes.

and you need to upgrade the 3 great when you hit 1000 watts RMS.
  • Big 3 is a matter of trial: do your headlights? If so, consider a large 3 Upgrade.

    If you upgrade the alternator, consider upgrading the Big 3.

    Regarding the pilots are concerned, all things being equal, four 12 "drivers will be stronger than 1 or 2 12" drivers.

With a down firing ported enclosure do i still need an amp to power my 2 12 inch rockford fosgate subwoofers?

yes you need an amp to power any car subs unless its already powered
